Burley Since 1907

With a history dating back to 1907, Burley footballs have played a vital role in Australian football. It all began when the ball was first used in a WAFL league match between East Fremantle and West Perth. By 1913, Burley expanded to Victoria, the heartland of football. The ball made its debut at the Australian Interstate Carnival held in Hobart in 1924, and by 1933, it became the official ball of the SANFL.

Burley Footballs Made In Australia

In 2007, Burley celebrated its 100th year of manufacturing Australian league footballs, remaining an integral part of this uniquely Australian sport and pastime. To this day, Burley continues to manufacture its top-range Premier footballs using premium Australian leather at its Bassendean premises in Western Australia.
